The Kratie Province features a couple of attractions that has particularly earned the city of Kratie a unique place as far as tourists are concerned. The city of Kratie is located on the banks of the Mekong River. The Kratie province is significant since it features one of the rarest species of dolphins, the Irrawaddy Dolphins, an Oceanic species found in the Mekong River, which are found in the South East Asian region.
